Our Story
When I was little, I loved hearing my dad’s stories. He once crossed Africa by bike. Just him, and the road. He’d come home with his eyes full of places I could only imagine. I always knew I wanted to feel that freedom too.
But the world can feel big when you’re a woman with a backpack and a wild dream. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, or who to trust. And sometimes, you just wish you had someone to share it with.
So I decided to build exactly that. For myself, and for other women like me.
Elle Explore was born. A small travel agency run from the Biarritz, this magical place where the mountains kiss the sea. It’s the perfect home base: wild cliffs, green valleys, salty air, winding trails.
Right now, we create trips close to home: hikes, weekends away, bonding adventures for friends, teams, and brave souls who want to see the world with new eyes. One day, I dream of taking Elle Explore far beyond these hills to deserts, islands, and faraway lands. But for now, we start here.
We’re not a big agency. We’re a small, passionate crew who believe that adventure feels better when you don’t have to do it alone. We believe in women supporting women, in local guides who welcome us like family, in nights around a fire sharing stories just like this one.
